ELA MCAS are over, and the Math MCAS are on the way!
May 5 - 9 the 3rd and 4th grade students at Farley, Mulready and Forest will be sharpening their pencils, using their internal calculators and answering multiple choice, short answer and open response questions.
Looking for some ways to help your 3rd or 4th grade students with MCAS - look at the DESE website (http://www.doe.mass.edu/mcas/) for some sample questions and answers.
Remind your kids that it is important but it is only one test! It is a practice test for the the one that will matter when they are in 10th grade.
Tell them: Relax, take your time and do your best!
